Welcome to the new C.A.I.P.S. website.

The CAIPS program addresses the unique needs of internationally trained professionals and skilled trades persons in Niagara by helping them overcome barriers to employment. This program is administered by the Welland Heritage Council and Multicultural Centre and is funded by the Ontario government. The program offers services to both internationally trained job seekers and Niagara employers.

Our goal is to foster good working relationships with the business community and by doing so cultivate a diverse and progressive workforce that will contribute to the economic growth of Niagara. Employer Services include:

• Prescreening of candidates
• Facilities to perform interviews
• Access to a large pool of highly skilled and educated candidates

 
Human Resource Services:

• Guidance on education equivalency and credential assessments for Internationally Trained Professionals
• Cultural sensitivity training for management and employees
